This tape completes the June 1978 trilogy (Tapes 30, 30B, 30C) - a remarkable sequence delivering foundational teachings on surrender, free will, the nature of masters, evolution, meditation, and liberation from guilt. Together they form a comprehensive statements of the Bartholomew teaching.

The Shift from the Himalayas: Justin Moore asked Bartholomew directly about his function in the spiritual plan. Bartholomew explained he is best understood as an "energy field" or "force field" rather than an individual teacher. He began to describe how a shift in energy has moved from the Himalayan region to this area [Taos, NM] but before he could finish, he announced "the other master is about to come in." This second master described beings like Bartholomew as "composed entirely of moving, undulating, rhythmically cohesive light" carrying fields of immense power. The main focus of this energy shift is Taos Mountain, and the Moores have been called as vehicles "attuned to us" to help ground this force.

The Brotherhood and Its Blueprint: The master explained the function of the Brotherhood: they hold within their energy field "a high plan for mankind" - a kind of psychic blueprint. If souls on earth are willing, this blueprint can be imprinted on their psychic awareness, allowing them to "act as actors in making manifest on the earth plane" what has been impressed upon them. The only criterion that must be met is "a willingness of heart," cultivated through deep immersion in sacred mantra. "As this is more and more a part of you, to the exclusion of all other thought forms of any kind, it will be an absolutely simple exchange from my mind to yours."

Accelerating Times: The master warned that events on earth were moving rapidly, with deteriorating conditions in many parts of the world. "When God moves with power... karmic situations are greatly accelerated." Quick falls in finances and surprising events will characterize the coming times. This is why gathering those whose hearts are willing has become urgent. The master also addressed the Socorro group (John and Louisa Aiken), expressing eternal gratitude for their years of service and noting their destiny lied in continuing to "ground the light force" in their own area - different work than the Taos mission, but equally important.

The Meditation on Space: Asked how one can best become aware of God, the master offered a remarkable technique: instead of focusing on objects or people, concentrate on the space between them. "Space itself carries the message of oneness." Even the pauses between words carry more truth than the words themselves. Additionally, there is a space within each being that is "at one with the space throughout all of the universe." The master calls this "the highest form of meditation" - sitting with spine erect, concentrating on the inner space, and waiting for it to reveal its meaning. "The space longs to reveal itself, but it cannot do so without knowledge that it will be received in love."

Your Past Does Not Matter: The session concluded with a powerful declaration: "Anyone, no matter what their past may be, no matter what their thoughts might have been, no matter what their bodies might have done - it is not important." The ego uses guilt over past "sins" to keep seekers imprisoned, making them feel unworthy of the high road. But to the masters, these are "meaningless words... unreal images that will blow into the vastness at the first sight of meaning from your inner self." The master's parting instruction: "Give not one more moment of attention to your weaknesses, to your sins, to your degradation, to your depravity. These are meaningless words. They have no meaning."
